I have had an innate interest in photography and started experimenting during a college black and white darkroom class with a 35mm film camera. After college, my camera was with me every step of the way on my two month backpacking adventure through Europe. The friend I was traveling with soon realized that my intention for the trip was not to enjoy the moment but to capture it through the lens of my Canon. Many rolls of film later, I am thankful for the invention of the digital camera, which has allowed my love of photography to flourish. Photography went from a hobby in college to my passion later in life. I look forward to growing as a photographer, for there is always something new to learn! My education and experiences in the arts allow me to pursue photography in a fresh, creative light. I believe that each picture I take is painted with Love & Light. Photography is more than capturing a moment; it is finding beauty in all life, from ordinary to exquisite.
